Measuring Guidelines

Please utilize these measuring guidelines if you are ordering a rack with the Hookguard Shield: Make sure you have at least 12" clearance from the top of the gunnel to the bottom of your deck. If not, please ensure to add the extension bracket as an "add-on" option to your order and provide your boat measurements in the "special instructions" section during checkout.  

For those ordering a Bump Board, please follow these measuring guidelines: The bump board rack measures 36" in length.  

1. Standard Muskie Bump Board Owners and Reck N Rack Bump Board Owners: Ensure that you have 9" clearance from the top of the gunnel to the bottom of your deck to allow enough room for the bump board to hang. If the clearance is less, we offer an extension bracket as an "add-on" option during checkout.  

2. Muskie Fatboy Bump Board Owners: Confirm that you have 11" clearance from the top of your gunnel to your deck to ensure sufficient space for the bump board to hang. If your clearance is less, we also provide an extension bracket as an "add-on" option during checkout.  

For all Rail and Traxtech System owners, please refer to the measurement requirements below:  

Rail/Traxtech Systems - An extension bracket will be REQUIRED with this setup.  

-Rail Users:  

A. Measure from the inside of the rail to the inside gunnel.  

B. Measure from the bottom of the rail to the top of the gunnel.  

-Traxtech Users: Measure from the outside track to the inside of the gunnel.
